Craig Omoto
Board Member

Craig retired in 2016 after a long career in financial management, initially with Verizon Communications and later with Seattle Public Utilities.

Craig is an elder at his home church in Seattle, Japanese Presbyterian Church, where he has also served as a Sunday school teacher and small group home fellowship leader for many years. He previously served as a board member and president of Operation Nightwatch, which provides overnight shelter for men and women, housing for formerly-homeless seniors, and a street outreach ministry. Craig also enjoys serving as a volunteer tutor at an alternative high school in Seattle.

Craig and his wife, Sheila, have three grown children – two daughters and a son. Since 2010, Craig and Sheila, have traveled to Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand annually with short-term mission teams. They are blessed to be able to partner with pastors, missionaries, children’s homes, and others in serving and supporting ministries in Southeast Asia, where there is a great need for the gospel of Christ.
