Area Training Network Coordinator
KidZ is seeking a motivated and energetic individual who shares our mission to reach communities and multiply our Christian Spiritual Formation Trainings. By joining us to develop partnerships, coach local church/organizational leaders, and encourage training teams, relationships will grow allowing the body of Christ (including children) to be transformed by the Spirit in worship and ministry.
This is a part-time, remote position within a global, Christian community.
Key Responsibilities
•Area/Language partnerships: Collaborate with the Director of Training (US or Canada) to identify new strategic partnerships in their assigned area/culture with churches, conferences, organizations and nonprofits which will advance the development of local training networks, intergenerational worship networks and recruiting of local trainers.
•Training events: Coordinate and coach partners, licensed National Trainers, and specific leaders in their assigned area/language to ensure the interests of KidZ at Heart are expressed and maintained through a variety of Christian spiritual formation training venues, with support of the Director of Training and Training Coordinator(s). Ensure that training reports are completed for each training.
•Build relationships through ongoing training: Make follow-up visits after training events and in-between connection points to encourage those who have been trained, assess implementation of items presented in training events, and discern opportunities for additional training.
•Regional training execution: Collaborate with the Director of Training of his/her region to ensure training is occurring according to the agreed-upon strategies and standards of KidZ at Heart. Assist Director of Training in vetting, supervising and further developing Licensed Trainers.
Qualifications
•Pursues ongoing personal spiritual growth through spiritual formation practices;
•Alignment with and in agreement with KidZ at Heart’s Statement of Faith;
•Demonstrated agreement with and mastery of KidZ at Heart’s training style and philosophy;
•An understanding of children’s ministry leaders, volunteers, and church ministry;
•Ability with good communication and relational skills to recruit, lead, and motivate a team of volunteers;
•Ability to organize, schedule, and track multiple training events;
•Motivation and ability to learn basic/intermediate proficiency in computer skills for using; standard office software (Microsoft and Google Suite) and video conferencing;
•Ability to complete or delegate administrative skills.
