Ana (Anny) Chinchilla is from a city called La Ceiba, in the state of Atlantidad, the country of Honduras. She has been on staff working with the KidZ at Heart as our National Training Network Director of Honduras since 2020. Anny serves as a Leader in Sunday school at her church. She lives with her mom in their home town La Ceiba. She has an older sister and two brothers. She is the youngest. Also, Anny has 5 nieces and 1 nephew who she loves dearly.

Anny came to know Jesus at the age of 13 on February 14 in 1998 and from that moment she started serving her Lord God. She was a child that went through a lot of difficulties at a very young age. Her experiences gave her the desire and will to help many children know about a loving and forgiving God.

Anny started working with children's ministry at the age of 13. She became part of a Ministry called "Castillo del Rey" (King's Castle), Misioneritas (Little Missionaries) a girl's ministry. She also served as a Sunday school assistant, and later after being trained she became a Sunday school teacher at her church. Anny had the opportunity to work and be part of many mission trips through her church when she was a teenager. This also opened doors for her to learn to become an interpreter at a very young age and help many mission teams that came from the USA to communicate with other Honduran men and women to learn about the love of Jesus. Through the years Anny had the opportunity to work as a teacher in several schools in her country. This gave her the opportunity to outreach many children to learn about the love of Jesus.

Anny got her first chance to work with KidZ at Heart in 2015. At the time she was working with another Ministry called Heart to Honduras. She worked as a volunteer Interpreter for about 4 years and helped prepare many things with other amazing people before the team arrived in the country.

The spiritual discipline she is most impacted by is when we take the time to pray, read, note, recognize, and pray again for the guidance and will of God through his scripture. Anny hopes that through the Ministry KidZ at Heart, many teachers, parents, grandparents, and leaders from cities, and communities of her country will take the chance to help children fall deeply in love with Jesus.
