VP of Advancement
KidZ at Heart is seeking a visionary and results-driven VP of Advancement to drive our mission forward through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and brand positioning. This role is pivotal to shaping this mission—amplifying our impact, expanding our reach, and cultivating lasting partnerships that fund transformative work.
The ideal candidate is not only a skilled fundraiser but a compelling storyteller, strategic thinker, and passionate relationship-builder. If you thrive on forging meaningful connections, creating sustainable growth, and aligning people with purpose, we want to hear from you.
This position can be full time or ¾ time.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Design and execute an integrated advancement strategy aligned with organizational goals, including development, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Fundraising & Development: Lead multi-channel fundraising campaigns (annual, major gifts, corporate, planned giving, digital). Identify, cultivate, and steward donor relationships at every level.
Donor Stewardship: Build authentic connections with donors, ensuring consistent recognition and engagement that deepens loyalty and generosity.
Marketing & Communications: Oversee compelling messaging that communicates our mission across print, digital, and media platforms.
Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with executive leadership, board members, and program teams to align advancement efforts with organizational priorities.
Data-Driven Insights: Leverage donor data and analytics to drive strategy, measure success, and optimize future efforts.
Qualifications

● Demonstrated ongoing personal spiritual growth;
● Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills required to craft funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner;
● Ability to develop strategic communications content;
● Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects on an ongoing basis;
● Grant proposal writing and research experience (optimal);
● Ability to work well independently within a team environment;
● Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite/Docs

Director of Communications
KidZ is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and energetic Director of Communications to lead, develop, and oversee the communications efforts of KidZ at Heart to invite people into the KidZ at Heart community and then to encourage them into deeper spiritual commitment as they take additional steps to help children fall deeply in love with Jesus.
This is a part-time, remote position within a global Christian community
Key Responsibilities
•Messaging and Branding: Collaborate, communicate, and maintain identity and writing standards for KidZ at Heart with KidZ at Heart staff, both within the United States and training regions outside of the United States.
•Communication Strategy: In collaboration with the Director of Development, develop, communicate, and maintain strategies to promote KidZ at Heart’s programs, events, and impact.
•Communication Pieces: Create, review, and maintain inventory of all communication pieces (i.e., brochures), making them accessible to specific departments/staff members as needed and per communications policies. These materials, whether used in the United States or outside the United States will be housed on the KidZ at Heart Google Drive.
•Internal/External Communications: Manage internal and external communications, including newsletters (i.e. Ministry updates), social media, and website content (collaborate with the person in that role).
•Run and Maintain a KidZ at Heart Podcast: Collaborate for the initial design with the Resource Division and within the Advancement Division to research platforms, software, and content to create a KidZ at Heart Podcast. Once established, maintain the communication standards for ongoing operation and maintenance.
•Impact and Vision: Collaborate with Advancement Department to expand KidZ’ reach through strategic communication.
•Analytics and Adjustment: Monitor communication performance and adjust strategies.

Director of Training (US)
Will you join us in our mission? We are in search of a dynamic individual who is confident and well organized to provide direct oversight and advancement of KidZ at Heart’s Christian spiritual formation training through the development and sustainment of Local Training Networks (LTNs) in the assigned country in partnership with significant organizations.
This is a three-quarter time, remote position within a global Christian community
Key Responsibilities
-Address the unique needs of the North American Church: Evaluate the specific cultural needs through conversations with leadership and potential participants. Discuss results with leadership to meet specific needs of the North American culture and seek out creative ways to bring the ministry of KidZ at Heart to the North American church through marketing and program strategies that connect with these leaders.
-Serve as a key leader in implementing TKM Initiative: Advance the ministry of KidZ at Heart by developing partnerships with leaders of underserved churches and communities across the country, including (but not limited to) those in smaller urban, suburban, and rural churches; refugee and immigrant populations; ethnic minorities; non-English speaking communities and congregations. From these, train and create networks of trainers to serve the communities they represent.
-Regional ministries planning: Collaborate with VP of Programs (North America) to develop long-range training plans for each region that includes in-country training.
-Regional ministries partnerships: Collaborate with VP of Programs (North America) to maintain current and develop new strategic partnerships with organizations, ministries, churches, conferences, nonprofits, and universities which will advance the development of local training networks.
-Regional training execution: Collaborate with VP of Programs (North America) and Area Training Network Coordinators (areas/languages of country) to ensure in-country training is occurring according to the various agreed-upon strategies and standards of KidZ at Heart.
-Local Training Network Development: Collaborate with Resources and VP of Programs (North America) to ensure adequate training of Area Training Network Coordinators and support of in-country training teams and local training networks.

-Ability to recruit, lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers;

Area Training Network Coordinator
KidZ is seeking a motivated and energetic individual who shares our mission to reach communities and multiply our Christian Spiritual Formation Trainings. By joining us to develop partnerships, coach local church/organizational leaders, and encourage training teams, relationships will grow allowing the body of Christ (including children) to be transformed by the Spirit in worship and ministry.
This is a part-time, remote position within a global, Christian community.
Key Responsibilities
•Area/Language partnerships: Collaborate with the Director of Training (US or Canada) to identify new strategic partnerships in their assigned area/culture with churches, conferences, organizations and nonprofits which will advance the development of local training networks, intergenerational worship networks and recruiting of local trainers.
•Training events: Coordinate and coach partners, licensed National Trainers, and specific leaders in their assigned area/language to ensure the interests of KidZ at Heart are expressed and maintained through a variety of Christian spiritual formation training venues, with support of the Director of Training and Training Coordinator(s). Ensure that training reports are completed for each training.
•Build relationships through ongoing training: Make follow-up visits after training events and in-between connection points to encourage those who have been trained, assess implementation of items presented in training events, and discern opportunities for additional training.
•Regional training execution: Collaborate with the Director of Training of his/her region to ensure training is occurring according to the agreed-upon strategies and standards of KidZ at Heart. Assist Director of Training in vetting, supervising and further developing Licensed Trainers.
Qualifications

•Alignment with and in agreement with KidZ at Heart’s Statement of Faith;
•Demonstrated agreement with and mastery of KidZ at Heart’s training style and philosophy;
•An understanding of children’s ministry leaders, volunteers, and church ministry;
•Ability with good communication and relational skills to recruit, lead, and motivate a team of volunteers;
•Ability to organize, schedule, and track multiple training events;
•Motivation and ability to learn basic/intermediate proficiency in computer skills for using; standard office software (Microsoft and Google Suite) and video conferencing;
•Ability to complete or delegate administrative skills.

Area Training Network Coordinator (Grandparents)
KidZ at Heart is seeking an individual who desires to be a voice within the KidZ at Heart community to invite grandparents (directly and through their adult children) to be involved as we work together to help children fall deeply in love with Jesus. This individual will oversee and multiply KidZ at Heart Christian spiritual formation training within grandparent spheres. By developing partnerships, coaching local church/organizational leaders, and encouraging training teams, relationships will grow allowing the body of Christ (including grandchildren) to be transformed by the Spirit in worship and ministry.
This is a part-time, remote position within a global, Christian community.
Key Responsibilities
•Grandparenting partnerships: Collaborate with the Director of Intergenerational Worship to identify new strategic partnerships in their assigned area/culture with churches, conferences, organizations and nonprofits which will advance the resourcing of grandparents, development of local training networks, intergenerational worship networks, and recruiting of local trainers.
•Training events: Coordinate and coach partners, licensed National Trainers, and specific leaders in their assigned area/language to ensure the interests of KidZ at Heart are expressed and maintained through a variety of Christian spiritual formation training venues, with support of the Director of Training and Training Coordinator(s). Ensure that training reports are completed for each training.
•Build relationships through ongoing training: Make follow-up visits after training events and in-between connection points to encourage those who have been trained, assess implementation of items presented in training events, and discern opportunities for additional training.
•Assist in Writing Training Material: Collaborate with the Resources and North American Ministries departments by keeping the grandparent audience in mind when writing material for Transforming KidZ Ministry Training, individual workshops and other KidZ resources.
•Communication: Collaborate with North American Ministries, IT and Communications departments to create a place and way to share tools and resources with grandparents.
Qualifications

•Motivation and ability to learn basic/intermediate proficiency in computer skills for using; standard office software (Microsoft and Google Suite) and video conferencing;
•Ability to complete or delegate administrative skills.
